One of the best parts about having a daughter is getting to dress up in matching outfits. Today we spent a girls day at the mall shopping and wore these cozy matching faux fur coats. New York is still a winter wonderland, and these jackets kept us cozy warm while we shopped till our hearts were content.

Because we were spending the day indoors as well, I knew I would need to wear a layered look. Bodysuits have been my go-to lately when layering because they’re so versatile. Another benefit of bodysuits is that you only need a few styles in your closet to go with anything (I find that a black, white, and neutral colored option can be layered under just about anything). Today I wore this white bodysuit that might just be my favorite because the material also contains shape wear. A slimming bodysuit that looks and feels like your favorite t-shirt? Yes please!

Sometimes you have to just stick to the basics of a great pair of dark wash jeans. These ones have a great mid rise fit, and the dark indigo wash makes them an instant closet staple.

Leopard is a neutral right? I’ve officially signed the petition for the leopard trend of 2018 to be carried into 2019? Anyone else on-board? These leopard pumps are a staple in my winter wardrobe.  I found Athena cute booties to match with leopard detailing along the back. Her booties are on sale for under $25!
