I can’t be the only one who finds themselves completely overwhelmed by the endless amount of choices that exist in the world of beauty products. Lately I’ve been hooked on these Beauty Counter finds. Beauty Counter is a newer brand on the beauty scene, with a mission to provide women with safe & natural products.
I was shocked last year, when I began researching some of the ingredients some brands put into their beauty and personal care products. Even things that claimed to be “organic” or “natural” seemed to have an endless amount of ingredients, that I couldn’t prounounce nevertheless understand what it was, or what it may do to my body if I was to purchase this product.
So when I learned that Beauty Counter was also claiming, that their products were “natural” and “safe” I was a bit skepital.
What actually changed my mind was an article I read on Kourtney Kardashian’s new website, she mentioned the Lemon Grass Sugar Body Sbrub. Knowing what a huge advocate she is for safe, and natural products. I decided to give Beauty Counter a try.
My first order from Beauty Counter consisted of all the cult favs; from their sheer berry lipstick, to their peppermint lip conditioner. I wanted to try EVERYTHING.
The first thing I noticed when my package came in the mail, was that I could read and understand what every ingredient was. For example, the Body Scrub recommended on Poosh contains; Sweet Almond Oil, Vegetable Oil, Sunflower Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Jojoba Oil, Grapefruit oil, Orange Oil, and Sugar. And the same was true across the board, all of the products contained ingredients that for once I understood, and felt totally comfortable (and even excited) to use on my body.

What’s better yet? I actually enjoyed all of the products also. Some of my favorite pictured here are my favorites. The Brightening Vitamin C oil, has become a daily part of my skincare routine. I use it every morning, and aside from the amazing scent (it smells like oranges) it is the first oil that I’ve tried that has left my skin feeling hydrated and replenished without being too oily.
The Body Sugar Scrub is another product that I incorporate in my daily routine. If you’re a self-tan addict this is for you. It takes the tan off and exfoliates your skin like no other. And it also, smells heavenly.
The peppermint lip conditioner is also a must-have. First off, for the price tag the amount you get in this jug will last you a lifetime. I’ve been using it for two months and I’ve barley made a dent in the container. As all the other Beauty Counter products, this also smells (and tastes) so good.
Pro tip: I apply this generously under my matte lipsticks to keep my lips from cracking, or drying out. The matte lipstick still applies beautifully, but the conditioner locks moisture in my lips.
Overall, I would highly recommend Beauty Counter to anyone looking for a safe, natural alternative to some of the products on the market right now. You can shop all of these products and more here.
Thank-you all for reading💋
